Adding knobs (optional for you to provide or add later) can turn it into a functional decorative mirror gift for a friend. In this case, it will not be the traditional high relief for metal embossing but a different version. You will work on the front of the pewter more than on the back; however, if you require more height on your design, you will still be able to add height from the back of the design.Before cutting out your metal embossed elegant lady, you will use patina as an aging agent. If you choose not to use the chemical process, you can also use a permanent water-based marker as a blackening agent.Lastly, adhering your metal embossed lady to the mirror blank or substrate will complete the workshop project.
